Si conclude dopo due anni il piano International Roma Integration Through Stakeholder Exchange of Succesfull Practices., un’iniziativa finanziata dalla Commissione Europea per aiutare l’integrazione dei minori svantaggiati.

PLOVDIV (Bulgaria) – Incontro conclusivo dei partner a Plovdiv, in Bulgaria, per IRISES, un progetto rivolto ad aiutare l’integrazione dei minori svantaggiati, in particolare quelli di etnia Rom, finanziato dalla Commissione Europea. Capofila, il comitato UISP Ciriè Settimo Chivasso, guidato dal borgarese Roberto Rinaldi, insieme alla fondazione bulgara Courage, le associazioni Sport For All Suceava dalla Romania, Former State Fostered Children dall’Ungheria, Freedom Gate Greece dalla Grecia, The Child Center dalla Slovacchia e la scuola portoghese AE Miranda do Corvo. Queste ultime due, tuttavia, non hanno potuto presenziare.
I due meeting si sono svolti venerdì 2 dicembre, primo dei quali all’interno di un istituto residenziale per minori abbandonati o maltrattati dai genitori, che si è poi concluso con la visita della struttura. Tanti i servizi offerti dal servizio, in cui vivono venti tra bambini e ragazzi. Secondo meeting il pomeriggio, al Ramada Hotel, dove il progetto è stato illustrato ai rappresentanti delle molte associazioni bulgare interessate a conoscere il progetto. IRISES è durato due anni, con l’obiettivo di scambiare e condividere metodi ed esperienze tra le varie figure professionali attraverso meeting e workshop.

PLOVDIV (Bulgaria) – Final meeting of the partners in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, for IRISES, a project aimed at helping the integration of disadvantaged children, particularly those of the Roma ethnic group, funded by the European Commission. Leader, the Committee UISP Cirie Settimo Chivasso, together with the Bulgarian Courage Foundation, associations Sport For All Suceava Romania, Former State Fostered Children from Hungary, Freedom Gate Greece, The Child Center from Slovakia and the Portuguese School AE Miranda do Corvo. The latter two, however, were unable to attend.
The two meetings were held friday, december 2, the first of which within a residential institute for children abandoned or abused by their parents, who then concluded with a visit of the same. Many services offered by the institute, where they live twenty of children and teenagers. Second meeting in the afternoon, at the Ramada Hotel, where the project was disseminated to the representatives of the many Bulgarian associations interested in learning more about the project, which are then presented in turn. IRISES lasted two years, with the aim of exchanging and sharing methods and experiences between the various professionals through meetings and workshops.
